[group photo]

The CURC Annual Dinner was held on Saturday 12 February 2000. The location this year was the beautiful Old Library of Pembroke College, one of the lesser known treasures of Cambridge architecture. The guest speakers were Mr. Gerald Corbett, Chief Executive of Railtrack PLC, and Mr. Richard Salmon of the Bluebell Railway Trust

Andrew Paton gave the life member's address, and Andrew Grantham spoke as president.

MENU

Stilton and Brocolli soup

Salmon in a watercress sauce

Guinea fowl and selection of vegetables

Sticky toffee pudding

Coffee

Sherry
Pembroke College Rouge
Pembroke College Blanc
Pembroke College Ruby Port

The dinner is always a popular event, and forms a reunion for many life members. All life members are welcome to attend - come along and meet the present student members, and also many faces from the past. If you haven't been along for a while, this is the ideal occasion to get back in touch with the Club.
